June 2024 Newsletter
The time has come for me to say goodbye as your pastor, and while this departure is bittersweet, I carry with me countless memories of the love, lessons, and fellowship we have shared.
Over the years, we have walked together in faith, supporting each other through life’s trials and celebrating its many joys. Each service, each event, and each moment of community outreach has deepened my appreciation for our unique congregation and the special bond we share as followers of Christ.
As United Methodists, we are called to live out our faith in both our words and actions, embracing the grace God offers us and extending it to others. Together, we have strived to do just that. Your commitment to living the Gospel has inspired me every day, and I am profoundly thankful for the opportunity to have led such a vibrant community of believers.
Though I am moving on to a new chapter in my ministry, I am comforted by the knowledge that Rev. Paul Coy will be here to guide you. I have every confidence that under his leadership, you will continue to grow and serve in extraordinary ways.
Please know that my prayers for you will not cease. I ask for your prayers as well, as I transition to this new appointment. Though we may no longer see each other regularly, the bonds we have formed in Christ remain strong and will keep us connected.
As I depart, I leave you with the words of Paul in Philippians 1:3-5, “I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.”
May God bless you all with continued faith, hope, and love. Until we meet again, keep the faith and continue to shine the light of Christ in all that you do.
Blessings,
Rev. Candace
