It was announced today that I will be serving as Senior Pastor to Gardner Memorial and Amboy UMCs in North Little Rock. I feel like this will be an awesome place to do ministry with the people of both churches. They are both mission minded and I feel like I will fit right in.

I have visited Amboy and will visit Gardner Memorial this week. I will visit the parsonage on Tuesday, I hear it has a view that is a truly spectacular.

I am looking forward to this next phase in my ministry and the return to the parish. Working at the Conference Office equipped me with some new skills and I was able to travel over the entire state. I went to several out of state conferences and workshops, so I am truly grateful for this experience. However, my calling will be better served in a local church. I will have the opportunity to put my doctorate into practice and see how some of the training plays out in the real world.

Pray for the churches I will be serving and pray for me, as I live out this next phase of ministry.
